Probably the same as now... Deist!

BTW, Islam may have never started had Christianity not started. Muhammed was greatly influenced by the Christians of the Arabian Peninsula. He incorporated a lot of Christianity into it. If Islam had been started, it would have been radically different from it is.

It's not very easy to speculate about how history might have unfolded differently if not for certain (or even uncertain) events. Of the few items on your list, Buddhism would probably have been the least affected by the situation you mention. As for me BEING a religion, I'm not. I'm just some guy.

I think there are as many religions as there are people who follow them.
Hmmm... interesting question though. I would probably be Native American-ish, pagan, druid-like, some religion that followed the signs from nature and worshipped the Mother Earth.
No sacrificial animals or humans though.
Hope my answer wasn't too wobbly. LOL

Well, I dont' know. I would probably be a pagan, but maybe I would have believed in God. Then I probably would have been Jewish. Good question.
(You are right, we would not be Christians if Christ had not died and rose to save our sins. We would still be looking for a messiah, wouldn't we.)

As a Buddhist, I don't like calling it a religion. It is a practice. Every day, I practice the teachings of Buddha. But he is not a God, he was simply a decent guy. And there is no fear of heaven or hell in Buddhism. Buddhism is about living your life in the present and being aware.

romans and jews did not kill christ...bad men who were greedy and cruel did, they just happened to label themselves as romans/jews. there are bad ppl in every religion, race and nationality to judge all by the actions of a few is unfair.

No, I would still be a Christian. The living God's plan would have still happened. You can ask all the what if's...

The living God is bigger than any human plan and understanding...even when we can't wrap our minds around it.

Christ would have died anyway as a payment for our sins, in some way. So I would just stay a Chrisitan, I think

Wow - did you mean for that to be such a loaded question?

In any case, there's no reason to assume that someone should have to be part of any organized religion. I'm not now, and I still would not be, despite your mangled interpretation of the bible.
