I have a PowerPoint presentation that I created on a PC and saved to a flash drive. The organization has requested that it be on CD for Mac. Is this any different than just burning it to a CD from the PC?

There shouldn't be any difference from your side. Just burn the CD as you would for another PC, the Mac will be able to read it.
