They are true in the same way that Santa Claus is true. Although the guy doesn't really come down the chimney with gifts, so many people give gifts to the ones they love (and so many to strangers through charity!!!) that the idea is really true, though the facts are a little skewed. Several times when people are in trouble "Angels intervene" whether they are in the form of a good samaritian who drives by and pulls someone from a car after a wreck before it explodes, saving a life or a Habitat for Humanity group who's "Angels" give a family the chance to have a real home. Please feel fee to mention these types of "Angels" in your report. Of couse, it would be great if you mention some people who have acted as "Angels" for you and helped you out throughout your life, maybe even your teacher! Good luck on this!

OK, your English was difficult to understand.

According to scripture, they do exist, but we know very little about them. Hebrews chapter 1 gives us several clues about them, read it.

The word simply means "messenger" and is used a few times in scripture in that sense. Angel is derived from the Greek word, "aggelos." In Greek, a repeated gamma is pronounced like 'ng' which leads us to the English form.

The Sadducees, a sect of Jews during Jesus ministry, did not believe in any spiritual existence, so they denied angels.Acts 23:8 The Sadducees say that people will not rise from the dead. They don’t believe there are angels or spirits either. But the Pharisees believe all these things.

Scriptures speak of 3 types of angels by name.
1. archangel: leader or head
2. seraph (seraphim is the Hebrew version of the plural and some English versions have seraphs): this word is also used of poisonous snakes. It means, "fiery ones."
3. cherub (as above, -im is Hebrew plural): these were the "guards" sculpted on the arc of the covenant "mercy seat."

Other types are described, but not named.

Stories: I CANNOT VERIFY this story, but placed it in my web page several years ago. http://home.flash.net/~box/birdies.html

Anyone who likes "angel stories" will probably appreciate it.
