it is my belief that "enivronmentalists" fit under 3 catorgies:
1 come from wealthy famlies, have all kind of money, never had to work for anything. so they need something to spend all their money and free time on. so why not jump on the most popular train at the time. save trees cut people
2 worked hard through school to get where they are big student loans and have very good paying goverment jobs. either directly with the gov. or with a company contracting for the gov.
3 trying to get into the pants of either #1 or #2
you never hear farmers, loggers, or fishermen complaning. these people make the world work if u can't eat u can't protest or even have wood for a sign. greanpeace and like nuts just try to stop everything fishing, logging ect, they don't care that thesr guys are just trying to make a small living and feed there famlies. the nuts just want animals and the air safe, after all they are taken care of cause they good jobs so why worry about anyone else? well it is farmers, fishermen and loggers that pay taxes so these nut can have a good paying job

First of all most liberals believe that there is no God hence the immoralitys like abortion that they support. But on this issue they may have something.
Just because God gave us dominion oversomething doesn't mean that we can destroy it. On the contrary because God gave it to us we should preserve it. (That arguement is pretty bad because God did give us everything.) We will pass it down to our children, and grandchildren (unless the messiah comes before then) do we have a right to destroy thier inheritance. Also God gave the dominion of earth to all of mankind, so one person shouldn't have the right to destroy it with disregaurd to others.

yeah but what if people don't believe in God...Thats like Saying Santa has given polar bears dominion over snow....Don't be dumb...What you should really think about is why, whether there is a god or not would you want to let the earth be destroyed by stupid things like..toxic waste dumping...and littering...and dumping garbage into rivers and lakes...I mean what part of your brain thinks thats Ok??? Seriously...

You are a conservative and believe in God, yet you think it is okay to foul up the very planet that sustains us? We do have a responsiblity to ourselves, our CHILDREN and future generations to make sure that the earth has clean water to drink, clean air to breathe and food to eat that will not make us sick. If you think otherwise, you are neither intelligent or religious. Stop hiding behind God and be part of the solution instead of the problem.

I recognize your faith and also you for having faith yet each man or woman cant have self belief in God the way you would because of stuff like technology and the conception of evolution and what no longer. So some have self belief with time we can locate better solutions we theory we would not in any respect recognize. also i'm a buddhist so my beliefs are really depending on the way life purposes and how our karma impacts it

Yes but we are charged with caring for the earth. Not messing it up entirely and killing everything God created. We are the landlords, the gardeners, the protectors of all on this earth. From the way you put your question it sounds like you don't give a rats butt about this place, that you want to do what you want and not have anyone tell you differently.

You have dominion over say... your pet dog. That means that you can do whatever you want to it... nobody can stop you. Even if something is against the law, it doesn't STOP anybody from doing anything.
That doesn't mean it's completely okay to do whatever you want.
