Girls wear thongs with low hip hugging jeans to show off their undies when bending or squatting. So, why do they get offended when people stare or comment?
Also is it comfortable?
It can't be that comfy cause old folks don't wear them.

thongs are trashy. nothing says "stripper", "slutty", or "trailer trash" MORE than a thong... especially when it's visible to the public.
in short, i'm a man who likes to be teased, and thongs leave nothing to the imagination.
besides, "boy shorts" are in. and are much more flattering to a woman's figure.

I don't wear them to get attention,, I wear them because I don't like having panty lines. (I also try not to wear very low pants in general) Therefore I am offended if someone says something because I wasn't out to get a comment!
I can understand where you are coming from however, because I do know several girls who let them show on purpose, in which case, they shouldn't be offended for getting exactly what they "asked" for!
Perhaps if you don't want to offend someone, you shouldn't make a comment or stare, it could very much embarrass the person!
As far as the comfort issue, you get used to them. For me, they are no more uncomfortable than wearing regular panties!

Alot of girls wear them so they do not have panty lines. PLus the are not uncomfortable when you get used to them. Its a younger generation thing! Thongs can make a girl feel sexy and I have never heard a guy say thongs are not hot on women.

I love wearing thongs, I almost never wear underwear, I would prefer to wear none than have to wear "granny panties" Some girls don't do the whole "I want my thing to show" I wear them because they are comfortable and I prefer to, not everyone is skanky out there, or needs the attention.

I don't know about other females, but I wear a thong and I don't like for it to show because I know how the guys would look at you... though it's flattering, I just don't want no guy commenting on what type or color undies I have on.. But it's extremely comfortable.. I think that the older people don't wear them because they want to be modest.. I know that's how my mom sees it.

I placed on thongs & g-strings to steer clear of VPL (seen panty strains), ugh! Hate them, indignant elastic bites in the floor. As for wedgies, it is the full element! The thong hides in the butt (yet then, the thinner the better), giving a gentle seamless VPLless visual attraction on the backside (esp if this is a gown). the secret in looking one is to purchase one a length smaller, that way they do no longer stick out above denims (or while bending). they're uncomfortable to placed on in the beginning, yet with time this isn't any difficulty.

I think a lot of girls probably do it, because they feel sexy or they want attention from men. You should never really wear thongs too often though. What most women don't know is that wearing thongs makes you more prone to urinary tract infections. That thin string that goes up your but serves as a transporter for germs such as feces to go from your but to your other private area. Be careful ladies! They may look cute, but they're not that healthy for you.

There are several reasons why I do. I hate panty lines for one. There is nothing worse than seeing someone with a great fitting pair of pants with visible panty lines showing. As far as comfort, I admit I had to get used to it. Sometimes they are still a little uncomfortable and I find my self rearranging! The spaghetti strap ones in my opion are the worst ones because they tend to dig in and that hurts. The second reason I wear them is because when I bend over if a little pops out, it is nicer to see a little piece of cloth instead of a big huge loose piece of cloth.

I wear thongs, but I make sure it never shows. Thongs are sexy.. Some girls just don't have any self respect that's all.

Women liked to be admired without being stared at excessively. They think being drooled over is crude. Women are known for wearing pretty stuff that isn't comfortable ie stillehettos.

girls wear thong because they are sexy and yes you are right lots do wear them to show them off they really are comfy i personally go without
