Well. they got rid of My color...Ultress by Clairol....Nice 'N Easy has good coverage, although I think the total time for "recoloring" has changed significally. I used to be able to leave it for 3 weeks, and now it seems like 2.5 weeks. But it does cover completely. Leave it on for 40-45 minutes.

I like Grey Busters by Clairol in the Sally Beauty Supply store. Just mix with equal part 20 volume peroxide. Test on an underneath strand for time needed to process, but usually 45 - 60 minutes. You can use the peroxide diluted by half with water to increase the amount of pigment deposited in the hair. This is a professional product but is sold to anyone at this store.

Don't buy products over the counter. I am a cosmetology student and I used to buy mine that way as well. Until I learned how bad they are for your hair. Going to a salon is expensive, so look in your phone book for your local beauty school and go there. It is VERY cheap and the work is done by those about to graduate and is overseen by the professor :)
