The scientists discovered the nature of "blackbody radiation," cosmic background radiation believed to stem from the "big bang," when the universe was born.

"They have not proven the big-bang theory but they give it very strong support," said Per Carlson, chairman of the Nobel committee for physics.

Of course, any Christian knows the Big Bang is correct.

In the begining there was darkness

God said let there be light and Bang there was light, stars, planets and there were oceans and the land was seprated from the oceans and then all sorts of life came forth.

What I wonder is what took science 6,000+ years to come to this same conclusion.

The whole thing doesn't mean much to me really. God could have caused the Big Bang. The Bible doesn't say HOW He created everything. I think Science meshes with Scripture on a level we can't even comprehend. I honestly don't see the competing theories as mutually exclusive.

Big Bang doesn't have anything to do with evolution. This won't change anyone's minds. There's no science in creationism, just like there's no crying in baseball. All the science in the world won't change that.

No... More support for the big bang theory. Evolution is a seperate theory.

It supports the big Bang Theory, but not Evolution. There is a difference. You do know that, right?

Support yes, proof, no. I honestly don't care one way or another whether this is true or not, it doesn't change anything regarding my faith in God or my understanding of our place as His children in the world. Whether evolution is true or not true doesn't matter to me. However, I try to look at it as honestly as possible. So many people are pushing agendas with this science. They proclaim that things have been proven, when in fact, the article itself says nothing of the such. It is one more piece of evidence in favor of the Big Bang, but that is it.
