i just got 5 lbs of fresh potatoes and i need to know how to keep them fresh without getting moths and mold

keep in a cool dark place they will last long also in you keep in your frideges veg drawer...if you have room...

We bury ours through the winter.
we dig a shallow hole 1meter square x 250mm deep.
Cover with hay or straw and leave till next spring.
We are in Poland so that may make a bit of difference.
If you are in a warmer climate try to store between 3 and 8 degrees c in a dry place

take them out Of thier plastic wrapper because they sweat.put he in a paper bag and put them in the fridge.you can also by potatoes bags from farmers markets,don know what they do but the farmers use them must be right!haha

FRIDGE IS NOT GOOD FOR POTATOS! Keep them in a cool, dry place, out of sunlight.
