What is offensive is when a person with no faith degrades and makes fun of people of people who do have faith.

I think xians simply hate when their ignorance is exposed. We do an excellent job of revealing the utter stupidity of their myths and refuse to submit to their archaic nonsense. Since we are logical I think we give them doubt and they cannot handle living in a world of reality. Their little minds would explode if they had to face the truth that there are no gods, xian or otherwise.

Just look at the angst-the thinly concealed indignation from some of the Christians on this board that anyone would dare to question their cherished doctrines. They're offended alright-offended that there are people with sufficient common sense to know that their belief system is a bag of crap.

They like to feel they can control other peoples lives so i would say what pisses em off most is the atheist not submitting to their control.

Neither.
1.) I mourn for their loss. It pains me to see them walk head first into Hell thinking they're just out for a stroll.
2.) I find it foolish that atheists proclaim to be more open minded, righteous, pacifistic, and moral than Christians, and yet completely prove themselves liars right here on Y!A.

I think it's offensive when anyone (athiest or not) calls my beliefs stupid and spews hatred about Catholics. What athiest believe doesn't offend me, it's the hatred that some people (and again, athiest or not) have, and the intoleance that is shown to all religions. Now, don't get me wrong, there are a lot of athiests who are respectful and of whom I hold a great deal of respect for.

I am an atheist and am submitting myself to God's will.
He won't prove he exists, so who am I to argue with him?
If he wants me for anything, he knows where to find me.
Nomadic goat herders are not Gods to me.

That we have the audacity to laugh at what they revere most. Maybe it shakes their faith, who knows. If they really believed in their god, atheist assholes poking fun wouldn't make a lick of difference.

My will is what ever God wants in my life. He has control over my life. Praise the Lord. Why are you personally attacking us Christians here?
