How can I continue my relationship with my boyfriend when he thinks my mom is too overprotective? I really love him and want to continue it. He says it's driving him crazy. At one time she said she's not trying to make it difficult Shall I say something to my mom and my boyfriend about it?

boys will come and go your mom will be there forever. your mom loves u unconditionally. i know i always talked about everything with my mom, whether she liked the convo or not and today i still have a great relationship with mom and now have a daughter who i will pass the same to her. bottom line u shouldnt be afraid to talk to your mom about anything as long as u approach as an adult convo with understanding on both sides. as for the boys watch out cause like i said they come and go listen to the little voice inside your head and heart. good luck

If he feels your Mom is being too overprotective, then you more then likely have a wonderful Mom that cares a lot for you and is trying to keep you safe from harm. Another guy will come along and appreciate your Mom :)

How old are you, that is the question of the day.....and if you are over 18 maybe she is being overprotective.....but parents just want what is best for their children.....I am grown and my mother still want to know what kind of person is entering my life.....your boyfriend has to understand that too. So talk to your mother but also understand her point of view and her love for you.

Your Mom is thinking of your best interest. Your boyfriend should understand where she is coming from and try to stay calm. If he is a decent guy, he should give you room to work tings out with Mom

your mom probably sees things in him you do not. Listen to her, she has been down the dating road alot longer than you have and wants the best for you.

Listen to what she says, your future will be much brighter.....
If I had only done that 10 years ago......

if ur boyfriend really "loves u" ur mom should not be a problem sweetie. i think ur boyfriend is the problem. u didn't mention ur age so it's really hard to say how to deal with ur mother.

Talk about it... If he really loves you he'll put up with your mum and the fact that you love her. Maybe this is a test to prove his loyalty to you, think of it that way.
