I 6think there may be a purifying process. But we know each other and conditions where we came from ( see rich man and Lazarus). But we will be past the desire of sin.

I believe our memories will be changed on some level. If we make it to heaven and some of those we love do not, how will we feel happy about that? Since god will wipe away all our tears, I feel like the memories will also in some cases be wiped away. I can't wait!

I disagree. There is a multitude of Scriptural sources that tell us the dead, both righteous and unrighteous, will remember their lives. The difference is that the righteous dead will no longer SUFFER due to their memories.
Consider the following passage:
Revelation 6:9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.
These martyrs REMEMBER their martyrdom and cry out to God to avenge them. If their memories had been "wiped clean," this would not be possible. If you would like to see further Scriptural references to this, send me a message and I'd be happy to get them to you.
Peace.

There are some people who have confidence in "as quickly as stored, continually stored". i in my opinion have confidence it extremely is a team of junk. If that grow to be genuine, then in case you believed in God and repented etc early on on your existence after which you backslid, you will possibly bypass to heaven. What? that would not extremely make sense in my opinion. whether you committed sins and whatnot, you will possibly nonetheless bypass to heaven when you died? anyhow, i'm going to end with the help of asserting that the guy interior the placement you defined might bypass to hell. even in spite of the indisputable fact that i won't choose others and don't have the suitable to make certain no be counted if or not a definite guy or woman will bypass to heaven or hell, it extremely is sparkling that in case you do not have confidence in God, you're truthfully unlikely to heaven.

a good question, I'm not sure we'll remember things in heaven that happened on earth. the bible says, "Former things are passed away. Behold, I make all things new." I would take that to include our memories.

if we can use memories as a means to learn from and advance spiritually then it isnt a flaw to remember
perhaps when spirits remember the past they remember it for 2 reasons
A - a beautiful memory that has brought them love
B - a bad memory that they have taken lessons from

Those souls have no remembrance of anything down here on this earth, If they did, they would weep, & there is no tears in heaven. Neither can they look over the edge & see us.
