If money was not a consideration and you could get any insurance you wanted, which would be the one to get ? HMO's apparently suck so what does one do? What company do you go with ? What plan do you get?

It depends on where you live in the country as well as your history of illnesses as well as your family history of illnesses. I would almost recommend find a great doctor first and when you choose an insurance company, keep in mind these companies are changing all the time so what was good yesterday may be horrible today by your standards...get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz...it is a great guide to saving money in healthcare and things your should look out for in a doctor, plan etc to get the best for you. I think this book will help you a lot, even if money is not an issue. I bought my copy at Barnes and Noble for about $15. You might want to get a few for your friends if you have the cash...

If money was not a factor, then I'd rather pay with my own money. No hassles. No waiting. No essays and dissertations to enroll in a program.
