Yes, I had headaches while pregnant and about a month after giving birth. I treated them with taking vitamin a,b, c,d,e, within 10 minutes or less the headaches subside. Prenatal vitamins should normally take care of that. Ask your doctor if introducing the vitamins is okay with him/her before trying it. (ck with doctor for high blood pressure or pregnancy induced diabetes)
There are many food triggers to headaches, I've pasted a site below that gives you a list of food to avoid.

Sadly, some women are prone to headaches in earlier pregnancy because of the hormonal changes. The person who mentioned dehydration has a good point, are you drinking enough water? If you are drinking tea, coffee, cola cut these out as the caffeine may be making your headaches worse, could even be causing them. It is worth getting your B.P. checked as it could be high. If it is at this stage then it is likely that you have underlying high blood pressure before pregnancy, called essential hypertension. Pregnancy induced hypertension is unlikely so early unless you are obese or have a kidney problem and pre eclampsia does not occur so early, in fact it is extremely rare before 28 weeks and most commonly occurs after 36 weeks. Paracetamol are safe to take in pregnancy and a thing called 4head safe to use.

I have that exact problem. I had it all through my first pregnancy and now through my second one.
There's nothing much that can be done for it. Doctors say that it's all right to take one regular strength Tylenol per day for it. The rest of the time? They suggest laying down in a dark room with a cool cloth over your forehead and your eyes.
I was told that the headaches are brought on because of the change in horomones. Pregnancy affects women in all different sorts of ways. If you're prone to headaches before getting pregnant chances are that you will experience them through your pregnancy.
All I can say is... Best of luck to you. Try a massage! Get either your partner or go get a professional one done -- it does work great for relieving the stress that is also associated with headaches.

I have always had headaches not every day and it was always blamed on the amount of coffee I drank. When I was pregnant first time I was sick from 5weeks and my headaches got worse and eventually I suffered from migraines(this was scary) I was told I didn't have a high enough fluid intake. The only thing they could relate the headaches then migraines to was dehydration. Try increasing what you drink, always have a glass of water at hand and when that is finished fill it up again and again and again. The toilet seat was always warm but the migraines stopped.
Good luck.

i feel your pain i know what you are going through!!! when i was 7 weeks pregnant with my second child i had the same problem and it lasted till i was 4 1/2 -5 months gone, the mid wife said it would last untill the 20th week of pregnancy and my mid wife was spot on. it is due to a hormone that is realeased when you are pregnant, my head aches lasted for 4-5 days at a time i couldn`t move with them, all you can take is paracetomol (which didn`t work for me) try natural remedeys such has plenty of conditioner on your hair and massage your head working on your temples or where it hurts the most, avoid putting your hair up,listen to chill out music (which is good for the baby) and in general dont do anything you dont want to they will disapear with in the next 5 weeks good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and the birth of your child hope it goes to plan

Well I'm a male, and not pregnant, but I suffer similar headaches as well. Along with loss of vision, sickness and the headaches tends to last all day over to one side of your head - you may be suffering from migraine, brought on by large levels of stress.
If the headaches is towards the front of your forehead, this is most commonly dehydration.

Although headaches are very common in pregnancy it is always a good idea to get checked out for high blood pressure. Although the onset of pre-eclampsia doesn't usually start until the third trimester it is not unheard of, so get checked out a.s.a.p. Best of Luck

If you are pregnant, go and see a doctor. It could possibly be caused by high blood pressure. During pregnancy it could be a symptom of early pre eclampsia (excuse my spelling if it's wrong).

Anyone who has headaches like that should contact thir doctor. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong but at least if there is, you'll get it sorted.
