There's a lot of factors. Cost, distance from home, reputation, etc...
When it comes down to it, you just need to pick the one the feels right for you.
The usual list of best engineering schools are typically:
MIT at #1, Berkley at #2, University of Michigan, University of Illinois, Cal Tech usually swap places yearly around 3-5.
Any Big Ten school typically has a good engineering program.
With that all said, going to a school with a good reputation only helps you get in the door. It will make a company notice your resume. That's it. You have to do the rest.

What are you willing to pay? How far from home do you want to be? Do you want to live on or near campus, or do you want to commute? Do you want to go to a large school or a small school?
In the end, how well you do on the job interview and not the school will determine if you get a job.
