I've got a nissan 300zx (sports car) witch I love, but my wife is pregnant and it's time to go practical. 5 doors, big boot, cheeper on fule etc. I don't want boring. leather and electrics woud be nice, also something that stands out. Also I need to sell my car. I've had it advertisied for some time but no joy, so I might have to part exchange.

Mazda 6 - Mondeo underneath, but a bit less common

Alfa 156 - Stylish

Vectra - on second thoughts don't bother

BMW - Blends in rather than stands out

Audi A4/A6 - not as common as a BMW

Renault Laguna - reliability might be an issue

Volvo - image issues?

Saab 95 - Be different

What you need is a mondeo st24 estate, quick, comfortable, full of toys and dead reliable as they have a mazda 2.5 ltr v6 engine, try for one with the bodykit, not sure about the best thing to do with the 300zx tho as that is quite a specialised market, nice car tho,

Look at used Mercs or BMW 5 serise. They are nice and not boring, and rear wheel drive so a bit more fun.
I know how you feel as I had to get rid of my 205 GTi for a sensible BMW tourer when my wife got pregnant.
