I’m sure that is the case in ‘some’ families… but not all.
You could say the same about people who are not family members…
So-called ‘friends’ who only want to know you when they want something.
That’s life I guess !!!

Yes I have noticed that. My aunt is a wh***(prostitute) and she likes to borrow money off of my grandma. That's the only time she talks to her is when she asks for money. She didn't even go to my grandma's b-day party because she recieved her social security check the day before so she didn't need any money. The next day, she tried to get some money but my grandpa was there and cursed her out. She hasn't been over there (when he's home) since. But when he's at work, she over there being a bum as usual. I HATE HER!!!!!

U have a just a poor thinking. Family is part of ur soul, they stands u. Whatever u r, it is only due to ur family so if in need they are asking something from u then its ur duty to help them not to neglect them.

Yes i would say so. I think its people in general. If you stop giving into them when they ask for something,,maybe just maybe they will get the hint. But then again maybe not. Such is life. Just say no!
