I'm curious as to how you managed to give two pints of blood. I have worked in health care for many years, and the most ever taken was one unit, which is less than one pint. More than that would lower your total blood volume too much, not to mention leave you anemic and dizzy. I would suspect if you could maintain consciousness, you would have a headache, not just for the first day but for many to follow. So if you truly did give two units of blood, then yes, I think it would be normal to get and keep a headache. I'm surprised you are not in hospital.

Typically, you'd donate only 1 pint. The adult body only contains roughly 10.5 pints of blood.
