Or have you supressed your tears, to appear that you are in "control" of your emotions?
Men especially need to address this question.

I am feeling your pain. I know you are hurting, but now it is time to finally let go, and attend to your broken heart. Yes, lovers may sometimes leave us, but our heart is with us for life. Let it out (all of it) and let it go! I promise that love will find you, and you will experience all you dreamed of. Never underestimate the power of love!

if you dont acknowledge your pain it cannot heal,,all it does is learn to hide,,crying is a natural part of love and life and the healthy way to get over something painful is to 'feel' your emotions,,they will go when they are ready and you can move on,,the pain disapates and you can see clearly again without the burden of the emotion dragging you down.

There is no person, man or woman alive that can say that they have never in their life suppressed their feelings. Of course if they try to be emotionally open (which I try to be, and more people should) when this happens (perhaps once or twice), they will come up with an excuse i.e: well I just didnt want to look stupid in front of friends/family/ect.
But your question has merit, people do need to cry or do whatever it is that they do to alliviate their pain. However, there are times in which to do so and times when you dont.
To answer your question, yes I have, but you worded you question where at first glance you seem to ask do you cry immdiately after you are hurt emotionally, and to that I would wager that you dont. It takes time to sink in doesnt it? if you just realized something and for no reason started to sob in front of a whole room of people. No, not many people would. I am able to cry to relieve pain, but only at certain times. All the same, good question and I was glad to give you a different perspective on it.

Cry, nah, I'm past that . I just get angry and let him have it.

Men do need to address this because they are the ones that cause the women the pain. First they take our virginity and brag about it , then they move on for another kill. Then the woman finds a man and gets married and he puts her through the horrible pain of passing an 8lb child after 36 hours of labor only to bi!ch because he won't get sex for a month. Then once the kids are older they get comfy and expect us to stay in shape and never age or get wrinkles while they sit around and become slobs. Then they watch Hugh Hefner exploit 18 year old girls and envy him while not putting together the fact that what he is watching is a girl the same age as his daughter. Next, it's time to cheat because he is not having his wife kiss his rear like she did when she was 27 . I say if we can send a man to the moon , lets send them all !

Yes, I think if I cry it out it make me feel better. Crying is good that way you don't need to hold it in.... It will take time to get over the situation but, after you will be able to move on and forget about the things that you went through. But, without crying about it you will lose yourself and possibly go into a state of lover's depression is what I call it. You will blame yourself for not being perfect and etc... For all the guys out there crying doesn't make you look like a "sissy" or a "girly girl". Real men cry it out.

I use to surpress my tears and I was a very angry person.

then 9/11 happened and I broke. Now I shed a tear over things that never use to bother me.
and being able to cry does help relieve the pain.

I have learned to let my self cry when I feel as though the weight of the world is upon my shoulders and by crying it relieves the stress and clense's the heart and mind, even if it is for a short while.

Don't listen to skyllz. He sounds like a complete **** with no compassion. I'd say she needs an x ray. take her to emergency. Hopefully it's not a fracture and your mind will be at rest. They will be able to give her some pain killers which will help her a lot too!

Most of the time I try to stay in control, or talk to someone about my problems, that can alleviate some of the pain, but I think everyone should have a good cry every now and then, to offload some of the emotional buildup.

I tend to cry to the relieve the pain of a broken heart...when I finish crying it seems to make me feel better..However, anytime I see a place, or if I hear a song that reminds of that person...It always seems to come back...and I start crying again..So I don't thinik crying helps all that much...I think its better to confort that person who broke your heart...however..I talk about him and what happened with my friends and it seens to help a little bit...Too many guys have broke my heart...
I don't know if that answered your question, but I tried...

of course even guys have to cry sometimes, because it is a sign that you are truly in love with that person. Moreover it means that you're strong. Mostly guys just hide there tears to prove there manlihood, which is wrong because the more you keep it inside the more it will grow and your sorrow will drown u and will swallow you whole just like a black hole with nothing inside but loneliness.

I think it was 2000 into 2001 when I really had my out break with crying. Since this it hasn't came CLOSE to the level it was then. Before 2000 it was 1995.
