It is certainly not what you drink - it is all about how well you hold your drink, and how entertaining you (and her) can be on the drink togethor. I'm a gal and drink pints of Guinness even though I am a lady in every other sense. So pints are not out, they are afterall the staple in the uk pubs anyway and in my opinion are better to introduce someone to than hard tack.

Not a pint - at least not for the sort of guy that I would want to date. And especially not a second in 10 minutes time!

Depends if you're driving. If not then a pint or 2 is good but if driving do the decent thing and stay on soft drinks.

Why would a pint be out, you should drink what you want. I dont think women would be bothered what men drink when we are on dates.x

Absolutely - don't try and be someone you are not. If drinking pints is what you are about - then you do that. Might i suggest not downing 20 of them though......

Not many women appreciate men leering over them when they stink of beer or lager,it`s a right turn off.You should stick to a soft drink or take some mints with you,because you might just get to kiss her goodnight.You would1nt want to be p---ed on the first date with her,as there might not be a second one if you do.

Yes i think a pint is just right!!Its a propper mans drink!!Just dont order a glass of wine!!To wimpy!!Would put me off if a bloke ordered a glass of wine!!Have fun on your date x
