The smallest person on the british isles was one Archie Colon-Comma who was five and a half inches tall, and who tragically drowned in a Pot Noodle.

(For Americans and other magical creatures, please google Pot Noodle.)

it is true, see the extract below from the daily mirror:

"Tiny man dies in hot snack diving mishap

The Uk's smallest man met an untimely end yesterday as a Pot Noodle diving stunt backfired. Believing the soft noodles would help break his fall, Archie hit a lump of tomato that wasn't quite cooked and was knocked unconcious. Rescuers tried to send in diver mice but the steam from the boiling water was too much and they were unable to resue him in time.

Archie leaves behind a son, semi colon comma"

To the best of my knowledge this is true.I'm one of the magical creatures you mentioned. My mother was born and raised in England therefore I already knew what pot noodle was.I've been to England before.
I wasn't able to find any supporting evidence on the Internet as to his life of the circumstances surrounding his death but I have heard this before.

"Archie's Sphere"
by David Lehman

Anxiety clears meat chunks out of the stew, carrots, takes
the skimmer to floats of greasy globules and with cheesecloth

filters the broth, looking for the transparent, the colorless
essential, the unbeginning and unending of consommée:

Archie died when they dropped the 'S' from noodles..now noodle.

"pot noodles" as they are called in Britain, kill someone everyday in America. We just call them "cup o'noodles" and they should be banned everywhere. My condolences to Archie's family.

Oh, Mr Hobbes. You've been feeling exhausted of late; haven't you? I suggest a nice holiday in the Algarve.
