I believe that love can happen online... but the first chat I would be weary of. Online dating should be taken very slowly. People can claim to be anything, including produce fake pictures, etc. I am completely for online dating, I am in a successful relationship from one (married my hero almost 2 years ago). Just take it one day @ a time, see where it leads.
Good luck
Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brilliant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

be careful and dont do anything stupid and you should be fine,,love at first chat? "oh look'there,s satan iceskating to work" bad idea with the phone number though ,,if she turns into a stalker you will have to change numbers,,be honest with her and say how you feel before you get in too deep, dont lead her on because you know nothing about her really.if you like chatting, say so but dont give her reaon to say you led her on if you really dont want a full time relationship,,online or off.

She's weird! How could anyone fall in love so quickly? If I were you, I'd convince her to stay as friends for the time being because everything's moving too fast. This girl seems like she's more in love with the idea of being in love rather than being with you. Maybe she's lonely.

No. That's more a reaction to your fantasy and imagination. Love involves time. Lots and lots of time to get to know one another. It's something that grows and deepens as you age. Even for young couple who believe they are in love, are actually sharing a deep infatuation. It their relationship lasts, then it's based on love.

"LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" maybe bcuz of chemistry, body language, eye contact, and social interaction/reaction. even then the "buzz" like carbonation in a freshly opened soda, usually fizzes out.
w/regards to e-male w/o phyisical stimulation i would fear she is mistaking lonely hormones for natural pheremones.sounds painful 4 her, and potentially lethal 4 u

It's not love but it's loving. She seems to like you in all the ways you can't know someone just from meeting them in the flesh which is nothing to sneeze at. Meet her, get to know her, bring peperspray (just to be safe)
