I've heard things about not being able to feel pain in dreams, or witness 1st prospective dying, and I have tried it out for myself the best I could.
The rumors seem to be true so far.
Why is this?
And why can we feel other sensations but pain? [i.e: A need to pee, a soft stroke, someone holding your hand, rain, tears down your cheeks tickles...etc]
I'm very curious about dreaming, any other information would be cool too!

you may unquestionably have an ailment which you're basically noticing, or is barely occuring collectively as your physique is at finished sleep, i.e. snoozing. Then, your physique tries to create a dream that fits the discomfort so as which you subconciously think of the dream is inflicting the discomfort. attempt questioning approximately what you have been doing the day those desires got here approximately. Did you have a strenuous workout consultation? Or holiday, stub your toe, close something on your hand...something out of the traditional that could have led to discomfort right away? You have been in all probability so busy which you will possibly have not observed the discomfort, and then once you sleep....ta da, the physique is comfortable, and growth discomfort.

All I know is that when we dream, it is during the phase of REM (rapid eye movement). During this stage, we are practically paralysed which is the reason why we do not feel all types of sensations. That is why it is so unusual when people sleepwalk whilst dreaming as they are meant to be "paralysed". This is the way the human body has adapted in order to prevent dangerous accidents whilst sleeping.

I feel pain in my dreams, too.
When I was a teenager I dreamed that I'd gotten into a fight and was stabbed in the thigh with a knife.
I limped on the leg for two days before it went away and it was lightly bruised where the knife went in.

I do feel pain. I feel everything. Sometimes I even know I'm dreaming in my dream, and make myself wake up. I have also experienced "dying." Then again, I had a near death experience while I was awake. :)
