you go to church, you belive in god, but jesus said you must live in the spirit of god, to ask for its guidance, to do gods will you must be in touch with the spirit of god. you must ask, and the door will be opened unto you.there is a real spirit. that jesus said he would leave behind for us to lean on.one that willteach us in our hearts all we need to know on our lifes journey. jesus is in heaven ALL we have.I repeat ALL we have now here on this earth. is the spirit of god, do you think jesus was lieing when he said that all that call on my name will NOT be saved only those that do my fathers will.that only a few will make it to heaven. how can you know his will if you don t pray for guidance. and listen to that quiet voice within you. to tell you what you need to know,why do you think you can just belive that there was a jesus .and that will get you anywhere.

God and Holy Spirit are the same person.When you believe in Jesus He gives you His Holy Spirit to be your guide and comfort.It says in the Bible in Acts when Jesus ascended he said he will send us a comforter the Holy Spirit.So I guess if you believe in one you believe in the other as well.

If praying is so effective, does that mean people are praying for war, poverty and misery on a global scale?
Meditation is more effective than praying to imaginary friends.

there are many different ways to reach ones destination. one can walk, run, ride a bike, take a plane, a train, a bus, etc. but all will get one where they want to go. it is not HOW one gets there but the fact one does GET there. GOD is to big to be in just one place.
