Why don't men like to talk on the phone or call unless they are suspicious of something?

Good question....it depends on the relationship. When I was at University I could talk on the phone to a girl for long periods, but I must confess it was probably only because I fancied the pants off her.
While it is a gross generalisation I think you are on to something. I find women communicate on a different level. They can spend time with eachother on the phone where as guys see it more of an information exchange.
If I speak to a guy on the phone it's all about "what time, where, when" crack a couple of jokes and done. However as I live overseas from my parents I have tried to get better at being on the phone longer, so we can have a healthy relationship. Questions are the key. Ask lots of questions and questions about answers. That keep the call rolling, however it is a skill that I , and many other guys, don't possess.

I'd suggest they much prefer to be doing something rather than sitting around talking on the phone. Men and women are just different in this area. I listen to the conversation (one side I admit) the women around me have and how shall I put this, want to run out of the house screaming WHY. So I go down to the barn and discuss it with the cattle or horses, but they haven't said much to help me understand why women like to spend so much time on the phone. Any ideas?
As for the second part of the question, maybe you've found a subject they are interested in.

its true that u said!men dont like talking on the phone and i dont know the reason!!i dont like too talking on the phone but am a woman. i like going out with a person and talk at a cafe

Because some of us would rather be face to face. And depending on the job, the last thing we want to do is talk on the phone.

Men don't life to talk period (most). Girls are much more social then guys except with there "own" kind. You know that dude down the block otherwise they don't talk Especially on the phone my boyfriend hates talking on the phone but he texts me every two min. don't sweat it! and if he's suspicous and you haven't given him a reason to be that normally means guilt from him leave him!

I have noticed that men who don't like talking on the phone, really do not like to talk in person either. they are the kind of men who do not have communicatin skills and really do not want to hear your feelings or opinions. they are selfish, and when they do have any conversation it is for a short time, and they do all the talking.

That's not true of all men. My friend loves talking to me on the phone if he can't see me in person.

They don't like talking on the phone because they are more active then girls and don't like to gossip or "share their feelings" as much as girls do we are more emotional..
