what is the best outlook-like program that takes care of my email... program that tells me when the mail was read, things like that...because outlook doesnt work with my yahoo account...
if u tell me how to make outlook work i guarantee a best ans if it works...

LookOut! (it's going to crash) is sh!t as is anyone who would recommend it. You'd be better off using _Pine_ than "LookOut!".
Eudora is no longer "ad supported" in its free version 7. It hasn't been ad-free since version 3.0.6 which I still use (because it *works*).
You can also try Pegasus which can be easily configured; it's not my favourite, but it works well.
Check all the links below for freeware. These sites are trustworthy and ONLY list software that is truly free and has no spyware or viruses.

Upgrade your yahoo account to mail plus so you have POP (it's very cheap) or go to gmail or some other service that supports pop/imap.
