I pressed "open" button, but drawer wd not come out.

Three options

1) If you have the technical expertise, unscrew the nuts and open the Player to DVD rom out.

2) If you don't have, take it to a Mechanic or nearby repair centre and ask him to open it and fix it again.

3) If you don't wish to do either of the above, try your luck by a) unplug and plug the power cord c) Mildly tap or tilt or shake player when it is on.

All the best

If you look at the front of the DVD draw you will see a very tiny hole - this is a manual release for the draw. Get a paper clip and push it into the hole firmly until the draw opens. That should do the trick.

turn the player off at the mains
turn back on at mains
as it trys to load eject the disc
keep doing this ,had same problem took 4 attempts to get the drawer open
if its your pc then a paper clip in the little hole will release the draw turn off system first

You don't say what make DVD player it is - some have a 'get out of jail free card' if you know where to look ... which doesn't always mean taking it apart.
