I have reset the player to factory default values and yet it still will not play my DVD. Very frustrating. The Product Manual does not have info for customer service. Anybody knows who and where to call? I made a cursory seach for TERAPIN using their website www.terapintech.com but no luck. It seems that the site in now defunct. I bought the player from Fry's and is only less than 2 years old.

Wow Terapin - it is not a brand name I have ever heard of. In most cases, you get what you pay for - but not even Sony makes anything, they just get someone else to make something and then they put their name on it - just like how orange juice is made. Anyhow, the best advice I can give you is get one of those DVD lens cleaners. Just ask about it at places that sell electronics. Good luck.
