lol.that's what we almost always imagine but i feel it's kind of a multi-purpose excersice kind of thing. like, it's a time to relax after the rush of the wedding, it's a time to learn how it is to actually be together 24/7 and it's a time to create memories that we can look back on when we're barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen!

It used to be for just that one thing...
Now too many people have already done that one thing before getting married so now its just a way to go somewhere great and not have to worry about work, family or planning a wedding.
So you do what your supposed to do part of the time and get out and enjoy new things the rest of the time!
Of course, there are those few that have waited until they get married and then YES it's just for that :) !

The honeymoon is a time for 2 people to be alone together and take a deep breather from the wedding activity and to enjoy some quality time before they have to get back to jobs and the real world

In the olden days, it was supposed to be a time to break the virginity of the bride but since the world has gone haywire on pre-marital sex, its done in a nice secluded place or tourist spot where you can get your freak ons in a totally different dimension.
Also, this is the only time guys hear you. Within marriage, their ears close.

The honeymoon is a celebration, a vacation, a party. Not just sex only. Go to a romantic and/or exciting place and have all the romantic fun you can possible stand.
When you get back the honeymoon will be over (;<}<.

i think its for alot of things you have been so busy doing ever thing for your wedding and after its all done its your time to have a little alone time with your husband / wife ......its more then just sex its time together and i think everyone should have it ........its well needed

so you can watch your husband get drunk on the beach. make an A...S...S... out of himself....
watch him flirt and hit on other women....
while you sit on the beach alone... getting sunburnd because your husband is off putting sun screen on every other bimbo....
then you go to get a body massage... and you find out your husband spent all the money from your wedding...on booze and other bimbos on the beach.....
you call home and cry to your mom and all she has to say is I told you so......
