I guess it's because your emotions part of the brain doesn't work quite the same as the rational part. Women have it easier, they use both the same, hence a lot of emotion and not much logic.
So maybe it's a good idea to talk to a woman, they often know how to link them together. Other than that, convince yourself of what you know is true and pray hard that you'll be able to overcome it

The whole point of emotions is they are not logical, because they are generated by chemical processes in the body. If your emotions seem out of control it's a good idea to investigate what you have been eating (or not eating). It is unfortunate that we have to have emotions and I do agree with you that they are a drag, but all you can hope for is to minimise their intensity and a good starting point is to make sure your body is in good health, because then you are robust and your mind is properly supported and doesn't give way so easily to every passing hormone. Avoid drugs or too much alcohol and make sure your general health is good and you get exercise in the fresh air every day, this will help ensure you sleep well, I know this sounds boring but really it is the best way.

Another thing you can do is to identify the triggers of strong emotion, perhaps particular people or places, and avoid them. Good luck!

See a psychologist. Everyone can benifit from a little help. There is a fine line between logic and rationalization and it's really helpful to have someone to talk your way through it. There is a reason (although not nessicarily a good reason) for those emotions and until you look closely at yourself it's not easy to see.

emotions are natural , the only thing we can do is to control it , when u r angry count till 10 , when u r jealous think that lord has given u every oppurtunity etc that he has given to smbdy else so neither do u hav anything to lose nor to gain , so chill .. learn to cntrol emotions , read books , relax , listen to music , enhance ur knowledge , nvr be idle .. when u work constructively u'll have no time for negative emotions

Because you are human. We cannot always justify the way we feel. Maybe you should talk to someone about what you are feeling. An objective opinion could just make it all make sense. Sounds as normal as depression.

because emotions are illogical by nature.
first you have to fully understand the impact of the feeling... how it feels then you step away... think of reasons why you shouldn't feel that way.. confrontation can even be an option

it is human nature to be jealous. after you except the spirit of god into you, that is not then a problem. because you will have opened yourself to something wonderfull. loveing, careing. god is love, where there is love there is no jealousy.
