It is not something that you do once and then you are done. You must train yourself to let go as often as you grasp the feelings. Slowly, as we practice, we get better at the self discipline of right thinking.

False ego and non contentment in life increases anger and jealousy.
When i register jealousy in myself, try to look what i have better in my life and i feel at peace. Because obviously no one can have everything in life.
Anger comes also when i am right and the other wrong, but getting angry will not change other's outlook and prove me right. And if i am wrong, why to get angry? I should try to correct myself.
This was mental explanation. The best is to pray whenever you are conscious, to get rid of unwanted things.Although it takes time...years, but that's homework on this earth i guess!!

What i would personally do:
Close your eyes and try to relax. Concentrate on the sound of your breathing, brathing deeper each time. When you have relaxed, picture the feelings that you dont want in a shape, if you like it could be a red ball, or it could be the thing that is making you jealous. Now put these fellings into a bubble and watch them float away.

Many ways to skin a cat...

Do it politely with a joke. Do it as if you are tossing out the trash and being a better person to prove them wrong. Do it with control and style that they are not worth your effort to be angry and jealous over.

Do it any which way you could, but without doing what you do not want. Come out at the end feeling good about it because it is in the way you want and not the opposite.
