You can date him but if you fall hard for him what will you do? It seems like you will just be setting yourself up for a heartbreak. Just try to find some other hot guy out there (there are lots of them).
I also had serious hots for my cousin when I was younger though so I know what you mean.

Don't. I know a girl who married her second cousin, the whole family looks down on them. Very uncomfortable situation especially during the holidays. Lose the feelings ASAP.

In the old days all of Europes monarchy was married to each others relatives, cousins, uncles..etc....
The scientific reason for it being a 'no-no' is genetic instability. If you and him carry a gene for a disease, if you choose to have children, you are increasing your chances of having kids with health problems.

No you do not date your cousin.. because you kids aren't smart enough to stay out of bed.. it is not illegal! it was made legal when Henry 8th or someone like that was in love with his cousin, he made it legal!!

Its illegal to marry a 1st 2nd and 3rd cousin.... so theoritically it would be ok... but it really comes down to yours and his values and also the family values... you dont want to become the balck sheep amongst the family
