Every country has some rude people, maybe Korea has more than others. I think some Chinese could be the next rudest people on earth...I had an experience once at China Consulate in California to issue a Visa to China...

I was sitting on the seat and waiting for my number to be called. The girl behind the glass-window called numbers so fast, folks didn't have any chance to respond...finally, I heart my number was announced. I got up, walked toward to the counter. At this time, One Chinese guy who raced with me to the counter. Well, I didn't let him get in front of me. I yelled at him, "That was my number! you get out of my face..." He backed up, waited until his turn...

Another time in Las Vegas, a friend and I were waiting in the line to get something to eat...that was one Chinese sneaked in front of us; which she didn't bother me. No more than half an hour, I found more than 15 people standing there, I was wondering why our line wasn't moving for a while...finally, after 2 hours wait, we made to the front door of a fancy restaurant which has a sign indicating that "All You Can Eat Buffet" for $37.50 per person. A miracle happened, those Chinese disappeared in no time at all...I laughed so hard, the other people just stared me thinking I was a nut case...

Well I am working with Koreans and have been fro more than a year and I don't think they are rude. They might be shrewd at times as you know they have to keep on working hard after they evolved from obscurity to this country which has some standing in the world. so sometimes it gets to them. But as a person noot rude.

No, that has not been my experience. I don't feel as though you can just lump all of anyone culture of people into a pile and say they are the rudest. There are rude people in all cultures of people.

I consider myself educated, well-traveled and open minded. However, I have had THE most unreal experiences with Asians. Yelling, screaming, complaining, can't-get-a-word-in-to-save-my-life confrontations. And they're usually complete strangers, upset about a misplaced shopping cart, a piece of mail, or some other minute thing. I also have Asian neighbors who scream, fight and hit each other well into the night, with all their windows open, even when we ask them to be quiet, leave notes and call the police. They still make noise and don't care about the rest of us.

I only recently moved to city with a large Asian population, so this is new to me but it seems I notice it every day.

Not sure about rudest in the world that's a huge generalization and borderline racist. I do know that their culture has different approches with regard to things like customer service for example as do other cultures. Dealing with these differences can be really difficult. I have people staying with me currently who seem to think that saying good morning in the AM or thanks for something that you do for them is bad news lol. it's very difficult so trust me--I feel your pain

I agree that they are quite rude, I lived and worked with some for 6 weeks...only generally speaking though, you shouldn´t judge and individual through generalisations. Generally I think the English are pretty ignorant, being one of them I can say that fairly objectively...and some Americans, from my experience.
