I , and alot of my friends are over 35 and not one of us want to get married. we've all been there, done that. we enjoy the freedom to enjoy things such as dating. most of us have children, hence, are very careful about who we would even date, much less, marry.
On the other hand, if a woman over 35 has not already married, she could want to get married because she feels she's not getting any younger, it's harder to become pregnant when you get past 35.

Because by 35 they are ready to settle down and possibly start a family. They have had years of dating and want to marry the right one.

At 35yrs old, women are past the viable age of marriage and healthy reproduction. Feeling that they have almost past their prime, the rush to get married is in part due to the biological clock but also due to violations of social norms. Clearly, if marriage has not occurred b4 the age of 35, it could be one of two things: she has not found the right person, or has been personally or professionally motivated.

Women have this thing called menopause... yeah, it happens around 40, and chances are, those women want a family, and need to get their groove on before the start having hot flashes (and not the good kind) and then unable to produce children.

I think that it is because they want children and in the U.S. women are taught that after a certain age the risk of having a child with a birth defect gets higher and higher, and because of being the only ones that are not with someone,,,,so they think :]

That is so not true, they are in the prime of there life and I like it but would love to hook up with a good woman in my age group.

Her eggs are also 35years old and if she doesn't get tham fertilized at the earliest she may not have viable babies and the other reason would probabaly be that she wants you as fast as possible so no one else gets you
