A Amish community is a group of people that live with a style and tradition that has not changed for a very long time. Usually, in the country of OH,PA. Very holesome and spirtual people. They farm their own land to eat, do not have electricity, drive horse and buggy to get around. School their children in one room school house. Make there own clothes and all wear the same style of clothing, they have a great reputation as builders and farmers. A very close knit community, very nice people. They have old standard values and ideas and really do not bother anyone, they are great people from my experience. I hope this was helpful.

They are a really lovely bunch of harmless people who believe that living a Godly life means living according to old world values. No TV computers etc, and they keep themselves to themselves.
They have the added advantage of being environmentally friendly. Why anyone would want to hurt them defeats me.

They believe in living simply. They do this by adhering to old ways of farming, dressing and transporting.

People in Pensylvania who live without technology. just think of those people in that movie "The Village". they live like that.
