French is also as good for career as German.
Go For Spanish.

Aside from English, if you want to learn a foreign language, select a language that you think that would be very useful to you and you might used internationally when you communicate to different people and they would understand you.

Su see there are so many languages one can learn but if you want a good job in some multinational then u must opt from Japanese,spanish,German or French because these are going to be the only recognised languages in the near future.and i would prefer u to take Japanese.

In fact, if you simply want to feel better about yourself (or impress your friend), you could pick an obscure language that hardly anyone speaks, such as Lithuanian or Albanian. Personally I would recommend Latin, not only because hardly anyone speaks it, but also that knowing it will improve your knowledge of English (as well as other Western languages).

learn Mandarin. it's the business language of China, and it's very interesting too. just think, by 2050, China should have the same GDP per capita as the US. Chinese is the next english. btw, 23% of people in the world live in china. good language to know

Go with the language of the country you like the most, or the place you'd most like to visit. Choosing a language because of its popularity isn't going to be much use if you never plan to visit the places that use it.
