The only one I've met found me asking questions in a forum. Their philosophy is to not bother people unless they ask for help or advice. (speaking of LaVey satanist here.)

i agree with the above person and thanx for bringing that VERY important point up. in other words the church used to word to eradicate those who OPPOSED THEM ie SATANISTS.

'Satan' is Latin for 'Oppose'.
So technically, anyone who opposes organised religion is a 'Satanist'...
Of course, they had to change that to 'Atheist' after Christians began calling them Devil Worshippers...
