The Prophet Muhammad used to prohibit soldiers from killing women and children,1 and he would advise them: {...Do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child.}2 And he also said: {Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise, though its fragrance is found for a span of forty years.}3
Also, the Prophet Muhammad has forbidden punishment with fire.4
He once listed murder as the second of the major sins,5 and he even warned that on the Day of Judgment, {The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment will be those of bloodshed.6}7........

yes that is true -- but very few people take that into account -- and that would include people who kill others, irrespective of muslim or not. those verses are applied to all -- muslims and non-muslims alike.

So, now we're expected to learn a primitive and inefficient language in order to understand a book. I suspect that the mohommedans have so little respect foor other nations and thinkers that they don't realise that specialists have been translating the koran for over two centuries now and all the translations more or less agree with each other. The real issue is that they prefer that you don'tunderstand arabic so they can tell you what they want. For example, would you sign a piece of paper written in a language you don't understand? Of course not. It might be your death warrant. In the same way, we neither speak, nor want to speak the language of the desert. Let's see it in plain English (of whatever language you happen to speak). Then it can be analysed for its real meanings.

When the danish cartoons came out there were innocent christians all over the world who were killed, not by terrorists but by angry muslim crowds. These christians had nothing to do with the danish cartoons. There were 130 Nigerian christians killed over those cartoons. I doubt that they even knew that there were such cartoons. They weren't killed by Al-Qeida or any other terrorist group. They were killed by just ordinary muslims. I guess that murdering crowd didn't know anything about Sura 60:8.

i agree that Quran and hadith doesnt tell us to fight,or be violent, infact controling your anger is Sunnah,i think wrong people with wrong acts have shown disliked colors of our faith, if these acts were not done, every one would know the true meaning, Islam means submission to god almighty. not terrorism.

One Sura says:
Fight those who fight you but do not transgress and cross limits.
I still do believe that its not Muslims who have killed most innocent people but killing even one is, one too many. Ofcourse when others kills innocents its either out of necessity or colateral damage. Words do not make people who drop nuclear bombs(of course its always justified) and who kill millions of innocent people or who torture People who make one sect fight with another are ofcourse better people. This is my friend called the HYPOCRISY with capital letters. I see the ones who kill the most people call themselves civilized, kind and God fearing people. Who do you call people who say one thing and do another.

I agree with you 100%. In Islam it is forbidden to kill innocent (civilian), women and children. Destroying of private properties is also wrong. that is the true teaching of Islam
