666 is the number and mark of the Beast or the antichrist. The letter w in English is vav in Hebrew. And the numerical value of vav is 6. Nefarious connotaions of the number 666 wasn't invented by some heavy metal band;but is deeply rooted in the Bible.
The final book of the New Testament is Revelation, and for centuries theologians have pondered its highly symbolic, prophetic language. It's unclear why the specific number 666 is the number of the beast. According to Dial-the-Truth Ministries, the number 6 is the number of man because in the Bible, God created man on the sixth day. Elsewhere in the Bible (Matthew 16:23), Satan is described as being "man-centered" (as opposed to God-centered). Thus the devil's number would be a twist on man's number. This is just one theory, and the number 666 has generated plenty of debate.

It has something to do with the revelation in the bible...that the devil will come with the numbers 666 on his forehead? Lol something like that. Read the Revalation.

666 is just a mere number, common number.as far as the number concept is concerned. its been used in movies fictions, and no direct connections of this so called evil. the writer of the movie is perfectly and timingly wrote the story about the number 666 envolving the good and bad.

Revelation Theology tells us that, at the end times, there will be War, Disease, Famine, Death; and a charismatic world figure (a servant of the devil) will emerge to delude the world with his "spin".
He will mark his followers on the right hand or the forehead with the mark 666, and anyone who does not have this mark will be condemned as Christ-worshippers and will not be allowed to buy, sell, or partake in any part of civilisation.
Christ will come again, fight the last battle, and win. There will be 1000 years of peace.

Absolutely nothing!! If you read Revelation 13:18 carefully, you you read that 666 is a MAN'S number. The devil is not human.

The number 666 is mystical and cannot be interpret by biblical scholars. It is REV 13 Chapter talks about the beast or anti-Christ. Some scholars say 6 is the number of Flesh or carnality which in God's eyes is Sin.

7 is the perfect number in the Bible. The number 6 is less than perfect so it stands for evil. 666 is supposed to be very evil.

It is the mark of the beast. If you do not have God in your heart the enemy will deceive you. Before you know it you could have allowed him to place that permanent mark on either your forehead or on top of your right hand. Are you ready for Jesus Christ's return?
