i didng see any ant with spectacles. so i think they hav no vision problems..

Ants don't have very good eye sight. They mostly rely on smell (ie. detect chemical signals), touch (feel ground,air vibration) to nevigate around. So wether it is night or day does not really matter to them, they can still move around easily.

i never see them out in the dark but when i do i step on them

yes they can see as they use sense and smell technic to see thus they can see in dark
