Everyone DOES do magic, all the time...
Most of you just don't notice.

If you don't notice your magick, how is it that you think you are going to notice mine?

Try this....go thru life without focusing on anything, and in particular if you do focus on something, don't get passionate about it,, but if you do focus on something, and you do get passionate about it, keep thinking about it and worrying about it all the time, don't ever let go of it!

The online 'spells' you are looking at are the records of symbols that other people have used effectively in the focusing part of magick. Your mileage may vary.

lol ok..'witches' were origianlly the wise women of a community, the helped with midwifery, cured or were able to relieve the symptoms of some minor illness' by the use of herbs... since so called modern times especially during the 15th 16th and 17th century, these women were persecuted, there fore, the knowledge went 'underground' Modern witchcraft (wicca circa 1940's) looks to revive the old ways. However, due to recent programes such as buffy and the like I guess some of these 'spell's were made to look a tad lame. A spell is basically a wish, it comes from the heart. I would guess a bit like a christian praying. So your comment about having an advantage could be turned around to show how the chrisitan faith think they too have an advantage!
Also Wicca is a pagan beleif system...but wiccans and pagans are NOT the same. Im a celtic pagan (I am a celt) and I do not follow the wiccan belief system.
Hope this helps !

As others have said, magic isn't movie special effects - to do stuff like that would require far more effort than it's worth. Let's face it, most things that are blatant and noticeable have alternate methods that are a lot easier to do.

That said, consider it part prayer, part self-psychology, and part "subtle science" (ie, playing with probabilities.) For example, you aren't going to be able to make yourself bullet-proof or invisible - but you might be able to make it less likely that a mugger will go after you. Whether it's because you radiate that you're "tough" or because something else is involved, that's up for debate - there's valid points on both sides. Whichever way is accurate, it has more similarities with some of the more interesting abilities associated with Oriental martial arts than with lobbing fireballs around.

That said, I'd recommend distrusting anyone who makes really wild claims - the reality is, in general, far more mundane than most people would believe.

At college I had a ready Latin instructor however a instructor of French who was once a whole loss, so I needed to gain knowledge of the language after I left. I selected a prolific, fascinating however now not literary creator, viz. Georges Simenon and skim his books solely until I would achieve this with no trouble (each and every author has his possess form and vocabulary), then I upgraded my studying to anyone just a little extra elaborate. I made it a rule on no account to appear up a phrase till it had bugged me so as a rule that (a) it was once already implanted in my head, and (b) it was once naturally a phrase of beautiful common use. That manner I ensured that once I did appear it up, I remembered it. I additionally learn plenty of international newspapers on the web: one often is aware of what present information units are approximately. I am now fluent at studying French (today's and medieval, with a few capability in Old French), and will make myself understood in France, Belgium, the Suisse Romande and Québec, however I nonetheless have concern in eavesdropping on different folks's dialog or in following quick colloquial speech within the road, at the air or in movies.

Well for one thing it's not going to be like on tv shows like "Charmed" . No everyone doesn't notice when a "spell" has been cast. There is no kaboom or orbs that dance around the object of a "spell". Just like many have faith in other things witches/ wiccans have faith in their beliefs and rituals.

Maybe I could help by first explaining spells.
A spell is basically a prayer with tools. (candles, herbs, etc.)
The spell is created. (prayer formed in mind)
The spell is sent. (prayer is spoken)
The spell reverberates into the life of the sender. (prayer is answered)
I have a very low opinion of spell sites and spell books. Of course this is just my opinion.
Spells like prayer are much more than just saying some words. Just saying some words is ineffective prayer.
I hope this helps clear a few things up for you. Keep in mind I cannot speak for all, I simply speak for myself.

Blessings )O(

Modern paganism is a new religion that professes to be a continuing of old beliefs.

It started on the early part of the twentieth century in reaction to the corruption of the mainstream churches. But it has developed a priesthoon and rituals of its own.

Back to the old corruption.

Best keep away from it.
