over a period of 3 days a bump on the back of my neck has become larger and now i am developing more red bumps across my shoulder. they look to be blistering slightly. now i am feeling slightly sick. any ideas?

Not enough info here to tell; go to a doc and get checked. You could be getting shingles (esp. if you had chicken pox as a kid) or maybe even chikunguniya, esp. if you live in Asia or Africa, or even some parts of the US where the disease has spread to. Got a fever?

sounds like shingles, herpes virus.
Get thee to a doctor for medication. If this the correct diagnosis it can be very painful.
