what are some good points too being a vegitarian in wicca?
what is the spiritual reason for it? is it better for your health?

Not all Pagans are vegitarians (Im not) though a large portion of us are. Its a personal health choice more than a spritual one.

I eat a mainly vegetarian diet simply because I feel it is healthier and I am not that fond of chewing flesh.
On esbats and sabbats I encourage others to abstain from a heavy diet as I feel it enhances our spiritual experience. Heavy is for after ritual when we need to ground.
I view my body as if it is a car that carries my soul. This car has to last me, I can't trade it in. Therefore I keep it clean, service it, and fuel it with good gas. I hope that makes sense.
I also am of the belief that I eat to live not live to eat. Although others that I coven with think I am insane. LOL!
Being a vegetarian is a personal choice and it is not for everyone. As long as people are respectful and give thanks for their food, I don't care what they eat.

I should not answer this question for I am not practising Wicca. But from a spiritual perspective....veggies and water have a tremendous healing ability on the body/mind and soul.

As nature intended, we are omnivores, meaning we eat both meat and veg. The human body needs some protein and is best gotten from meat, but there is no problem in being vegetarian. It isn't a religious thing, it is a personal thing.
