I am having difficulty getting over someone who my relationship with ended recently. I miss him so much and have frequent urges to talk to him but my pride is preventing me from doing so. Also it is pointless to do so because I haven't heard from him since we broke up so he is clearly over it. I wana get him out of my mind and system a.s.a.p. Help.

No no....don't contact him. That is not healthy....that will just make you miss him more. Keep living separate lives and be open to trying a new relationship. Make sure you know that you can get through it on your own and let your friends and family take care of you.
This was the best formula for me when I was getting over my ex. I'm in a psychology of divorce and this is what most studies have proven to show.

Just because he hasnt called you doesnt mean that he is over it. He is probably trying to put himself back together as well. Your not alone. My only advice is to surround yourself with friends and family who you can talk to about how your feeling, but also so they can get your mind off your situation. Just take it day by day...and if you breakdown and call him, then maybe some of your questions will be answered. Dont let pride get in the way of healing. We are all human- Stay strong, but allow yourself the time to grieve.
