So here’s my question. I’ve been starting this rock, but as of late I have been going to church with my grandma and she just started singing gospel music(something she’s always wanted to do) I’ve been thinking about giving up my band before we got going good and helping support her by getting her up a backing band and being in that band. I am 21 now. What should I do? Stick to my rock band or support her and help with the gospel music?

Get your bandmates to backup your grandma occasionally.

ROCK ON! but, in consideration of your grandmother, of course, i'd say you should stick to the rock band but, errm, keep going to church with your grandma, if you were to toss a coin on the matter, i'd say that the coin should land on it's edge, keep up both sides, for two ways are always better than one

Maybe look into some Contemporary Christian music. It's pretty good stuff and doesn't always fall into the traditional "church" sound.
