Because I believe in your son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior

In all seriousness, if I ended up at some pearly gate and some voice said, "Why should I let you into My heaven?" I would look around for another entrance. If I couldn't find a different entrance or someone else to talk to other than that Voice, I would assume I was talking to God's little retarded son who is very immature and unstable. Hopefully God, who has U.N.C.O.N.D.I.T.I.O.N.A.L love for me, would snatch this little bugger up and put him in the golden toy room before he scares people away.

Are you a parent? If so, would you do that to your 4 or 9 or 15 year old? If you are not a parent, what would you think if your parents said that to you?

What can I tell You that You do not already know?
If your Heaven contains people I don't want to know, and Billy Graham comes to mind, and does not contain people that I do want to know, like say Robert Heinlein and Mark Twain, the question is really why should I want to be in Your Heaven?
Am I gonna have to try to 'lead' all those Christian babies to greater spiritual maturity in the absence of limits? If the anwer is 'yes', then I am not interested.
Do I 'deserve' to get into Your Heaven, or are you doing me some special, degrading, repulsive favor?
Do me the favor of not doing me any favors.
Give me what I deserve, even if it is total annihilation.

Yes, I know that Jesus is your Son, and was sacrificed to pay the blood-debt for all human sin, but I never followed him. He was on the throne of my heart a few times, but I never repented kicking him off in my anger and pride.

Do whatever You WILL, because I know that YOU... umm... WILL...

I would tell him that there is absolutely no reason. That I am merely a human, with no real merit, sinful however much I try, and only trusting in Your mercy. That's what it all boils down to. Complete trust in the Mercy of God. Al-rahman, al-raheem. The most commonly uttered phrase that Muslims say: "the most merciful, the most kind". Anything else that humans think gets them into heaven in simply ego.

I would tell Him that i love Him and that i ask for forgiveness for wasting part of my life on the worldly things, and since I have had my damascus road experience my life has changed all to His credit, yes there are some things that i had to do, but you blessed eached and everyone of them. For that i thank you. In the ministry work i do, you have blessed that to and made all of the dreams that i had come true. Now i hope that on this day you will look upon this soul and say "job well done, my good an faithful servant."

i might tell GOD that I need to be in heaven because of the fact I even have confronted and survived each and every of the tests that have been laid out earlier me for the era of my life and that i did so fullyyt because of the fact of my faith in a extra effective capacity. I took the flexibility that i became into blessed with and used interior the way that He might have needed me to. I remained a worrying, generous, loving individual no count what negativity got here my way.

I am being serious. I would say this, "Why, after the personal pains I've had, should I think Heaven is enough of a reward?"
