YES! I have suffered from it on several occasions. I was awake for over 72 hours more than once and I started seeing and hearing things that were not there. That can be real scary.

If it is just a natural thing, like insomnia, it may feel like torture but it isn't actually torture. If you deprived someone of sleep, even when they won't to sleep (outside of studies and certian things), then it is torture. Some people use it instead of pain and such to torture others. If you are sleep deprived you should see your doc and get some meds for insomnia, if someone is sleep depriving you they need to stop, if they keep on it is abuse. If you are sleep depriving someone else, you need to stop, it is torture in that sense.

Apparently torturers do actually use sleep deprevation as a form of torture. They say that t works better than some forms of pain or something along those lines.

i replaced into having alot of stress until now napping and could no longer nod off. Had many many sleepless nights. i replaced into basically fidgeting with this methodology one afternoon and had to take heed to the means Nap song. next ingredient I knew i replaced into waking up! Fell precise asleep without attempting. After using the Fall Asleep song, i could nod off precise away. yet i did no longer understand that I should not be using that one all night. Switched to complete night and have been using it ever in view that. i will flow to sleep conveniently now. I basically lay and hear the sounds and next ingredient i comprehend i'm waking up from a staggering sleep. i don't be bothered by loss of sleep anymore. I shop an IPod with earbuds next to my mattress and take it continually while vacationing. The earbuds help block out ambient noise and the sleep tracks shop me napping sound :) Reboot your ideas & sleep soundly back?

Yep..
it's hard enough dealing with the day. There are not many things worse. Especially when you have a lot of responsibilities to meet... because it's hard to function the next day when you have been rolling around like crazy. Go to the doctor and get drugs if you need to.

I think so.
It's usually a sign of anxiety for me or the harbinger of a breakdown.
