Both are really quite effective. If you can remember to take the pill everyday it is the best choice because it has the least amount of side effects. But if you think you will not be able to remember everyday the injection is the best.

Nothing is 100% safe except not doing it.

Also, just because you are on the pill, you should still use condoms. The pill isn't going to protect you from STDs or Aids.

Injection can be good cause for most women they stop getting their period, but a bad side affect is you breakout...it happened to me. The pill is probably better as long as you remember to take it at the same time every day.

i have used the pill since i was 15...it works well but if you are anything like me you will probably have to go through different types of them before you get settled with one....they have all these different hormone levels & crap....the best method of birth control is what ladies & gentlemen? abstinece but i know how that is....it doesnt stay like taht for long...evereyone i have ever known to get the shot has gained a tremendous amount of weight

Abstinence OR the Implanon implant, which I even have had, my sister has, friends have and so on and so on. it rather is placed on your bigger arm and covers you for 3 yrs. very solid, gentle sessions and no concerns! Oh and by potential of the thank you to the persons asserting God would desire to like it, i'm married AND needed birth control. not each and every physique wanting birth control is a grimy unmarried lady. Sheesh!!!

i know the pill is hard to remember to take everyday, but the shot can make you gain weight and either miss your period or like me, bleed constantly. I have never taken anything else, but my friend got pregnant on the ring.
