Road Transport..Accessible from almost anywhere. Relatively less expensive. Disadvantage . Not suitable for large Groups traveling together. Is a big contributor to Environment Pollution .

Water Transport (Shipping) At present the cheapest. Allows free movement of passengers while in motion. Allows big numbers to move at a time.Very good choice for long Journeys. Disadvantage.. Very slow;except in the case of super speed cruiser boats which are not common Transport.

Railway ..One of the popular means of transport. It is relatively more economical and quick. Allows the transport of large numbers of people. Disadvantage .. Not accessible easily except at Railway stations and doesn't stop at intermediate points except for emergencies.

Air Lines. Fast and mostly reliable. The only way you can buy time in significant quantity.Gives you a panoramic view of the Land from above. Disadvantages.. High Cost and Accident proneness of a high degree.

Space Travel.. Very exotic and challenging. The only chance to see the Earth as a whole from some distance. Disadvantage..Prohibitively high cost and very selective chance to travel. The user has practically no choice whether she or he is eligible to travel.

THE DISCUSSION SO FAR HAS COVERED ONLY PASSENGER TRANSPORT. iN THE CASE OF GOODS TRANSPORT ALSO MOST OF THE ADVANTAGESAND DISADVANTAGES APPLY.

Hermoine,
It would really help if you added a little more details of the project on hand. Moreover, do you have any preferences, i.e, do you have to present it as an essay or would it be in the form of an arguement?
Please let me know. Would be glad to be of help.
Dave
