well, it might. how often is it that guys notice ur hair? did u do anything special to it? if not, then its probably a subtle sign. watch him a little more. if u catch him peeking at u every now and then, then he probably likes u. or u have food in ur teeth. anyways, compliments like that, especially at work, are usually a sign that a guy is into u, even if its a little bit. for now, all u know is that he notices u and ur no longer just a part of the background.

if he pays you compliments a lot of times and notices everything that is new with you, like your clothes, jewelry, etc., when he always comes near you to start a conversation, when he is interested in what you've been upto, when he shows up where you are, when he touches you, when he messes up with you...these stuff will let you know that he likes you. I should know, these are the things my officemate did. eventually, he said that he likes me.
