Probably the most common question on here, I apologise, can't be bothered to read other responses....
Just wondering, I'm 25, been out of the dating game a while, long term relationship, but my girlfriend moved to New Zealand with work, and I didn't want to move with her, couldn't, my job is very London specific.
So I've got a date. Obviously I will be myself, but I'm a bit tamer now, nice guy, popular and funny, but is it a bad thing if I'm sensitive, and don't sleep around, or do women seriously like blokes who do that and treat them like sh1t. Let's assume, for the purpose of answers, that I'm a good looking guy

Ok I've written a really long answer, then re-read your question and I'd totally missed the point! So take no notice to the parts that don't apply to you, but i've written it now, and it would be a waste to just delete it.
Do you really need to ask. Come on, you just want all us girls go weak at the knees for your I'm a cute guy who can do long term, but most current ex long term girlfriend doesn't hate you, and more importantly is half way round the world!
So what you are saying is "Oh I'm so perfect, why am I single?"
I don't want to sound harsh but these are the reasons I can think of, as to why you still need to date.
1. You may be self delusional and are really not very attractive/funny/popular.
2. You are all these things, and know it and therefore come across as arrogant. (Us UK women are known to hate this)
3. You don't come across as genuine. Like some guys are sensitive and considerate, but you know its only because they don't have the balls to be the type of bloke that treats women like ****. You can tell with some guys that they would love to be bad. This type usually ends up cheating on you with a prostitute.
Some women do go for the bad blokes on purpose, they find it sexy. Some want to tame them, and others like the excitement. There are some seriously good looking men that are absolute wankers (this is what has lurred me in, in the past)
Most women just want a nice but not dull guy. You do sound like the sort of man most women would want, so just be yourself and don't try too hard to impress her.

hey woman may form an attraction to bad boys for a while but most nice sensible woman will know that those are mr wrong. If you want to have a long term relationship with a nice girl, then nice, don't sleep around and easy going but sensitive to the girls needs is the way to go.

Well I for one, love kind and open minded men. Someone who is also respectful of others and himself. While looks are somewhat important, the man need not be a model.
You sound okay. If I was looking, you probably wouldn't have issues with me. ;) But I am kind of an easy going gal.
Of course all women are different.
Be yourself, if it doesn't work out then it wasn't meant to be. Tailoring yourself to someone else's needs is pointless and will only make you unhappy in the end.

Hi Morph
At 25 you should not be worried - I am 42 and single and would prefer the man to be himself - Women love to be flattered without it being patronising - oh, and offer to pay - that helps too! Women tend to like being with a man who knows what he is doing in the bedroom - should things progress to this stage, ask her what she wants. Good luck

Well with what you said, I'd say your a pretty good guy, you sound responisble, and respectful. Which is what a lot of woman are looking for : Men to Respect them and do thoughtful stuff to show how much they like them and how much they appreicaite them, not just to get them in bed.

Say I was your date, hypothetically, and you manage to make me laugh in the few 5 minutes... you will be definitely in my good books :-).... In answer to your Q, I like a guy with a wicked sense of humour, and honesty for that matter ;-)... Have fun at your date!!!
